Brooks' first day of school was today!!
He was excited to go and even had no
tears leaving Mommy! On the way
home he said, "that was fun!"
He is still going to St. Joe's. It is an
auditory-oral school. There are
children with cochlear implants and
hearing peers. Brooks has learned
so much about tolerance, academics,
and has had fun doing it!!

Brooks chose McDonald's for his birthday dinner.
We invited the Seiters, Bohms, and Pop Pop!
He had a blast!

The second cake! Brooks loved hearing everyone
sing to him!

Brooks has a blast with the presents this year!
He is so lucky to have so many people that
love and care for him regardless of the presents!

This was the "original" cake. I had put the crumb coat
on it and started to pipe it. As I was on the phone with
Hyvee to see if they could do a last minute dinosaur
cake the head fell off!!!

I know there are quite a few friends and family that
read Brooks' blog outside of our immediate families,
so I thought I would share Brooks' newest shirt
with you.

Hopefully you can read that clearly! Brooks
is going to be a big brother on Valentine's Day!!

We had Brooks' 4 year pics done today!
He did great!! Here are some of them!

We went on vacation with Daddy's side of the family!
We stayed in a old cabin in Colorado! Here was one
of our neighbors!!

We also spent a day at the zoo!! It is the only
zoo in the mountains! Brooks' favorite was
the otters and bears! You can see how closely
we got to the Grizzlies!! That was the neatest thing!
