Brooks finding out he is having a little sister!

I went for a secret ultrasound a couple of days before Christmas and had the tech put the sex of the baby in a sealed envelope. Josh and I opened it together Christmas Eve night. He was shocked that I had kept it a secret that I went for the ultrasound. (I closed my eyes the whole appt.) We opened it together and it was so special! Then we gave the envelope to Brooks Christmas morning. He was just a little sad at first. (I think he thinks a little boy will come out playing.) However, about ten minutes later he said, "Mom, I am really excited to have a little sister." So sweet!

Brooks wanted to be a Cubs player for Halloween. So we ordered him his own personalized jersey to fit the part!

Brooks and Miller got to play in a 9U game this fall. It was a pretty exciting jump for these little 7Uers! They faced their first live pitcher and both did really well. They even got to play a couple of innings at short and 2nd. It was pretty fun!
