Flag Football

Brooks is playing flag football with the same kids as last year. They are all 2nd graders, except Brooks, so their team had to play in the 2nd/3rd grade league. There are some BIG boys! Brooks has always had an issue with thinking that the bigger a person is the faster and better they are. We are so happy to see he has pretty much gotten over that feeling this season. He blocked the "man child" and even dove and pulled a big kid's flags at the one yard line. We are so proud of him for finally showing some agression. (I know most parents try to get their boys to be less aggressive. I guess we should be glad. LOL)


Here he is blocking the man child. I kid you not he was almost as tall as me at 5'8".





Here you can see him getting the angle on the far left. He cut this kid off with a diving grab at the one yard line!

Our little Titan!

Brooks is playing on a competitive baseball team this year, the Shawnee Titans. They had their first tourney and won! They even played against an 8U team. He LOVES it! Scratch that, he LIVES to play sports! It is fun to see how much he enjoys himself.
